Currently, I live in Myrtle Beach, enjoying the sand and surf when I'm not working at WMBF News. During my three-and-a-half years at Georgia College & State University, I explored every available avenue for sports and news journalism, both print and broadcast. My expertise extends to most Adobe products, DSLR and video cameras, AP Style and all social media platforms. Beyond my experience in the journalism field, I have held leadership positions in Georgia College's Honors College and Thunder Crew, Georgia College's official student spirit group. I graduated in December 2016 as one of three valedictorians for the Fall 2016 class. I was also awarded the Outstanding Major Award for the Department of Mass Communication as well as the Outstanding Student Award for Georgia College's College of Arts and Sciences in the April following my graduation.
